We are all familiar with power. It’s a four letter word in leadership, closer to an expletive than an asset. It is, however, an essential way to explain the often delicate balance of forces resulting in trust, respect, and synergy among a team.
Together, we will discuss the equation: Power= Authority x Status.
How do we use power well? How do we gain it when we don’t have it? How do we manage it both as members of a group, and when we are coming in as facilitators or partners to a team already in motion?
